This year, CIBC and Canada will both be 150 years old. To celebrate this moment, CIBC launched a campaign to reflect and appreciate achievements over the last 150 years by providing a way for Canadians to share what the country means to them. CIBC Live Labs was asked to create an innovative and engaging aggregation piece that displays user-generated content to represent how CIBC and Canadians stand for everything that’s great about Canada; hard-work, integrity, honesty and innovation. We created a microsite that features a live and interactive leaf acting as a digital mosaic that cycles through current social media posts. We urge Canadians to fill in what they stand for as proud Canadians, design a meme, and post it on a social media platform using the campaign’s hashtag #StandForCanada. The microsite provides the opportunity to participate, celebrate, and represent who we are as a nation.
