Understanding the effects and abilities of the superstition required an extensive amount of research. This book includes the recognition of superstitious effects on communities, cultures, industries, and the human mind. It defines the superstition, analyzes psychological influences, explores commercial impacts, and describes a variety of methods people resort to when dealing with uncertainties. The book is designed to illustrate the survival of the ancient superstitious concept in the new enlightened world.
The research I conducted was based on thefollowing questions:
· How have superstitions managed to survive in current societies?
· Why have proven, illogical superstitious acts survived decades of scientific discoveries and the decline in mass religious philosophies?
· Why are these dogmas prevalent today and how does man find solace when clinging to the idea of the unknown?
